The Pima Cotton is carefully woven in a solid Sateen style finish offering the sleeper the softest most luxurious feel available. DonŐt be fooled by what others might say, 500 Thread Count is the highest thread count available with a single ply. Anything higher than 500 thread count is made by twisting threads together when the fabric is made. For example a 1000 thread count sheet set can be a 4-ply 250 thread count. The higher the ply, the more likely that the sheets will pill, forming uncomfortable little balls on the fabric. Be weary of buying high thread count sheets when the ply is not mentioned. Your skin will definitely appreciate the superior softness of this fabric. We use heavy duty elastic around our fitted sheet which allows your sheet to perform like a shower cap. It will expand on larger mattresses and contract on smaller ones. This ensures a snug fit on all mattress sizes. Be sure to check for matching sheets and comforters. This flat sheet is overcut to fit most deep pocket beds.
