The Pima Cotton is carefully woven in a solid Sateen style finish offering the sleeper the softest most luxurious feel available. Don’t be fooled by what others might say, 500 Thread Count is the highest thread count available with a single ply. Anything higher than 500 thread count is made by twisting threads together when the fabric is made. For example a 1000 thread count sheet set can be a 4-ply 250 thread count. The higher the ply, the more likely that the sheets will pill, forming uncomfortable little balls on the fabric. Be weary of buying high thread count sheets when the ply is not mentioned. Your skin will definitely appreciate the superior softness of this fabric. We build our comforters with warmth and longevity in mind.
