| 1. Can I use my existing box spring? |
| A: Although you can certainly use your existing box
spring, we highly recommend the use of our solid state foundation. The rigid
nature on the surface of the foundation ensures that the air mattress will
support the curves of your body, not the curves of the box spring. This
foundation will also prolong the life of the pillowtop of the air mattress. |
| 2. Will my bed lose air in the event of a power outage? |
| A: Our air systems are fitted with a factory sealed check valve connected to the air chamber which does not allow any escape of air from the chamber in any event. The loss of power will not affect the inflation level of the air mattress, but you will not be able to make any adjustments to the mattress. |
| 3. Will this mattress fit into my existing furniture/frame? |
| A: Our mattress sizes do not differ from traditional
mattress sizes. You should not expect to run into any trouble fitting this into
your current frame. |
| 4. What is your most popular model? |
| A: Knowing that each sleeper has different sleeping
styles, wants and needs, it is hard to classify a most popular model. The AIR
STAR 500 is our most successful option meeting the different demands of each
individual sleeper. |
| 5. Can I wash/dryclean these mattresses? |
| A: It is not possible to launder/dryclean the mattresses. However, there are ways to protect your new investment! Our AIR STAR 500, 700 & 900 come standard with a completely removable pillowtop which will allow you to take it outside and let the sun clean it. UV rays from the sun will kill off bacteria and dust mites restoring the hypoallergenic state of the mattress. It is also recommended to invest in a breathable, stain proof, machine washable, cotton mattress pad which will absorb moisture from our bodies protecting your new mattress for years to come. |
| 6. Does this mattress need to be flipped like my current spring bed? |
| A: None of the AIR STAR sleep choices need to be flipped or rotated. Spring mattresses need to be flipped to compensate for the compression of the spring. Since it is not possible to compress the air chamber, there is no need to flip/rotate our air beds. |
| 7. What are the dimensions of your mattresses? |
A: Standard bed sizes apply to our mattresses.
California King 72x84, Eastern King 76x80, Queen 60x80, Full 54x75, Twin 38x75, Twin XL 38x80 |
| 8. Will my sheets fit this mattress? |
| A: Standard sheets will fit the AIR STAR 300, 400, 500. Deep pocket sheets are required for the AIR STAR 700&900. |
| 9. How long will it take for my new mattress to arrive? |
| A: Typically you will receive your new mattress within 14 days. On rare occasions it may take a little longer. Please allow 12 weeks for special orders. |
| 10. What options do I have for shipping? |
| A: Bedroom Central.com includes FREE shipping to your home with all airbed investments. We also offer a white glove delivery service to completely install the new mattress in your home. Please contact us toll free at 866-879-2011 for price and availability to your area. |

| 12. Is Yahoo! Shopping secure? |
A: Yes. Yahoo! Shopping uses secure servers to protect your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information. We use the Stronghold secure server, currently the second-best selling secure server software and, in our opinion, the best product technically. It supports industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form and not decoded until we receive it. For added security, we also encrypt the credit card number when it is stored on disk and when we forward it to the merchant.
Shopping online is considered fairly low-risk. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion... is that online credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional 'low-tech' transactions." You should feel as safe as you would using a credit card in a store or restaurant, if not more so. |
